The DDJ-FLX6 is a logical progression for DJs who may have learned on a DDJ-200, DDJ-SB3 or DDJ-400. Additionally, it’s perfect for those that are ready to take the next step in their career but may not be ready to dive into it professionally just yet. It inherits a similar layout to the DDJ controllers you know and love, but this is the first for a fresh new look. It has high quality dark gray matte finish and redesigned jog wheels that will make your DJ setup stand out. The jog wheels share the same size as the all new CDJ-3000 so you can expect a “Club style” feel in this ultra affordable, ultra compact DJ controller.
Pioneer DJ is always evolving and this seems to be a new evolution in the look and feel for their “entry-level series” of controllers with USB power and RCA outputs.

Some key features of note are the all-new “Merge FX” which allows you to switch from one track to the next with a single action. Jog cutter, which allows you to trigger a professional scratch effect from the last hot cue or playback position you used all with the flick of the wrist. Yes we get it, the purist will hate this. Although we recommend learning how to scratch the old-fashioned way (with vinyl records and turntables), we don’t hate on those who do not.
There are full-size jog wheels (Same size as CDJ-3000) with on jog displays. This makes it easy to keep an eye on where you are without having to always look at your laptop. It seriously has it all on the surface.

Plug and Play Compatibility with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro
With a built-in sound card and support for the DJ Performance functions in rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, the DDJ-FLX6 eliminates the need for a paid subscription. Simply connect the DDJ-FLX6 via USB cable to a laptop running either software application to begin DJ’ing. The new controller also includes license keys for the Serato DJ Pro FX Pack and Pitch ‘n Time DJ Expansion Packs. These packs allow artists to use advanced features, regardless of the software.

This is also a great option for those who are just looking for a CDJ style setup for home, that will work with Serato, rekordbox and Virtual DJ for a really great price.
