The Pioneer DJ DJM-S9 is now officially a thing of the past. The new era of Pioneer DJ performance style mixing will be the Pioneer DJ DJM-S7 and DJM-S11 Mixers.
The first Pioneer DJ mixer with Bluetooth connectivity, which will allow you to now stream directly from your smart device into the mixer and played through a channel. This means artists can play loops to scratch over or even trigger one-shots from another device and route them to the master output. We also like how the mixer features the Pioneer DJ exclusive Loop MIDI function. Loop MIDI enables the use of effect levers to send MIDI messages to Serato DJ Pro and Rekordbox DJ. This provides artists with an exciting way to rhythmically control performance features.
Big brother features, for the little brother too
It inherits many of the design and workflow advancements made in the #DJMS11. Including the clean design, complete with a large load button and 16 performance pads (8 p deck). This allows users to easily select tracks, samples, and features. Unbelievably, all 22 FX from the DJM-S11 are also included on the DJM-S7. New additions include combo pad mode, scratch bank, and gate cue. The MAGVEL fader gives you ultra crossfader performance and has a boosted rigidity of the knob mounting shaft in the vertical direction by 30 percent. The result? It allows artists to scratch with even more confidence!
